A Fresh Start

New Art, New Directions, and Some Organization

I think it's time for a change, eh? My last journal entry was almost six months ago, and that's for a reason. For about six months, everything changed around me and I felt rather static. Most of my friends, and my boy, graduated high school, summer started, I learned and explored but felt caught in this unchanging state where I was watchin' the world go by. I think we all get caught there at some point, and I have just decided that six months is far too long a time to be there.

Expect my art to come spontaneously and for it to change directions. I want to try some digital painting, move away from horses and photomanipulations and into more traditional mediums like photography and (gasp-wince) maybe even try my hand at some prose.

Small Steps

I'm going to start small. Small changes. For me, and maybe for you.
Put less tea in the teapot so nothing goes to waste.

They seem silly but maybe they can help.

Features

A new feature of my life is the exultation of the beauty around me. I always do it in my head, now I want to do it here, where people can see.
